Description

Center spiders are used in combination with jaw couplers to connect pumps and motors to one another. Tempature range from 60 degrees to 250 degrees (F). This Hytrel center spider provides two and a half times greater torque capability.

      Hytrel spider

      I had an old cv joint style crankshaft driven hydraulic pump on my Ford 2000 tractor. When this finally failed I had to combine a couple of different components to adapt my updated hydraulic system. I was really impressed with smooth and quite operation of the new hydraulic system. This coupler joint is perfect, and I'm looking Ford to another 50 years of every day productivity. It is amazing how effective this little link makes my everyday demands just happen.
